Service Times: Sundays at 8:30am, 11:00am, & 5:00pm | Wednesdays at 7:00pm
Your first visit to Lancaster Baptist will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable. You will experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and at home! Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.
Our main worship services are Sunday mornings at 8:30 am and 11:00 am. Both services are identical with the same Bible message and music program, so choose the one that best fits your schedule.
Helping you to love God and serve others
Worship is the act of loving and responding to God! Through the heart-warming, conservative music and the clear, Bible teaching and preaching in our services, your heart will be inspired to love and to respond to God. Each week, families are strengthened, encouraged, and drawn closer to Him through these special times together. Each service is carefully planned and prayed over so that God may work in your life!
You can't miss our growing campus at the intersection of 40th Street East and Lancaster Blvd. The main entrance is on 40th Street East, and you'll recognize it by the sign and water fountain. Our parking attendants will help you find a place to park, and as you approach the main worship center, one of our hospitality greeters will meet you and direct you to the right classes and services. They can also answer other questions you may have.
Most adults attend one worship service where they enjoy the beautiful and inspiring music of the choir, orchestra, ensembles, and soloists. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Chappell. This service is a little over one hour in length. Also, during the 10:00 am hour, there are Connection Groups. These classes are smaller group settings where you are invited to meet people, enjoy perhaps some coffee and donuts, and hear a teaching lesson more directly applicable to your life-stage. The best way to get to know people at Lancaster Baptist Church is to visit one of these Connection Groups.
Our student ministries are broken down into three main divisions: junior high, high school, and College & Career. Within each of these divisions, there are several classes, which are listed under the "Teens" menu above. Most of the teens attend a class for one hour and then a worship service another hour with their parents.
There is not a dress code at Lancaster Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Lancaster Baptist!

It has answers and practical applications for any situation you might be facing, and at Lancaster Baptist Church, it is our desire to help you apply Bible truths to your everyday life.
