Why do we do this?
• We are all on a journey called life! This journey takes us through victory and defeat, through encouragement and heartbreak, through
excitement and deep pain...The only way to make sense of this journey is to Consider Christ.
• We live in a day that is constantly asking us to consider every thing and every one – it is imperative that we take time to Consider
Christ.
• Just as a vehicle must continually be refueled in order to keep going, so our own lives must be refueled so that we do not end up on the
side of the “road of life” stranded and unable to continue. Just as we believe fellowship is crucial, we must also understand that biblical
preaching is as well.
What are we doing?
Southern California is a beautiful place. This year, we are on the outskirts of a city that has been thrown into darkness. We need to “punch holes in the darkness...” In a place that is spiritually blind, we will Consider Christ and His Light!
We will be edified by the friends we meet. We will be excited about the free time that will allow us to enjoy this area. We will be encouraged by the preaching we will hear. Simply put, we will have fun!
We will also enjoy the time to get to know our special speaker. Pastor Rob Badger is the pastor of North Hollywood Baptist Church.
What do I need to know?
• The cost is $150 (based on a 3-4 person room). This includes two nights’ lodging, Thursday’s dinner, and Friday’s dinner.
• A two-person room can be reserved for $200 each. A single-occupancy room can be reserved for $250 each.
• We travel by carpool and arrive at our Activity destination at 5:30 Thursday evening. We will hear our guest speaker after dinner. Dinner begins at 6:30.
• Dates: July 24-26. (Ask for the time off now!)
• Make sure you pack your Bible, a pen for notes, a great attitude, a hungry heart, and money for souvenirs, food, etc...
