Missions Conference
Lancaster Baptist Church has always had a vision to send forth laborers into the harvest fields of the world. This is our command from the Lord Jesus Christ, and never in our ministry’s history have we had such an effectual open door to impact our world for Jesus Christ! As we consider the needs of this world, this week we will be challenged as a church family to continue to do our part in faithfully praying and giving to God’s work at home and around the world. Twenty-five currently serving missionaries will be our honoured guests, several of which are WCBC Alumni. They will give presentations of their field, testimonies, and speak in Sunday school classes as well as college and school chapels.
All services and WCBC chapels will be live streamed.

Dr. Daniel Kim was saved under the ministry of Dr. Jack Baskin in 1960. After his call into the ministry, he continued to work with Dr. Baskin and together they started the Bul Kwang Dong Bible Baptist Church in Seoul, Korea on January 1, 1961.In the beginning months of the starting of the Bible Baptist Church, Bro. Baskin and Bro. Kim visited over three thousand homes and personally witnessed to hundreds of people. Due to their hard work and dedication, the church grew from just a few members to a current membership of over two thousand. Upon Bro Baskin's departure from Korea due to health reasons, Bro. Kim took over as full-time pastor of the church. It has been under the leadership of Dr. Daniel Kim that the church has experienced phenomenal growth. This year he has celebrated his 50th anniversary serving in Bul Kwang Dong Bible Baptist Church. |
