Junior & Senior High

 

Recognizing Seniors in Church – On May 27, we will be recognizing the seniors during the evening service. All graduating seniors will be called to the platform that night and given a gift.

 

11th Grade Fellowship with Pastor – On May 27, following the evening service, all 11th Graders are invited to a fellowship at Pastor’s house. There is no cost. A bus will be on 40th Street East following the service to take teens to and from his house.

 

No Sunday School – On June 10 there will be no Sunday School for this Sunday only.

 

Spiritual Leadership and Anniversary Conference – June 10-13. Teens can attend the sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday and the services each night for free.

 

Muligan Activity – On June 13, teens will be going to Muligan Family Fun Center from 2:30-6:30 p.m. The cost is $15 plus money for dinner.

 

Junior High Welcome Beach Trip – This has been changed from June 2 to June 16. 9:00 a.m.—5:30 p.m. The cost is $10. (Free to any incoming 7th graders.)

 

Teen Camp – This year our annual Teen Camp will be held at Pine Summit Christian Camp in Big Bear, California. Camp will begin on Monday morning, June 25 at 8:00 a.m. and concludes Friday, June 29 by 1:00 p.m. Our speakers for the week will be Pastor Jim Schettler for Senior High and Pastor Paul Conner for Junior High. Teen Camp Fundraiser – Our Teen Camp Fundraiser has begun!! The cards may be purchased for $2 at Guest Services and sold for $10, giving an $8 profit for each card sold.

 

Promotion Sunday – This has been moved from June 3 to July 1. On July 1, all teen through C&C classes will promote. Teens will go to their current Sunday School class and from there a worker will take them to their new class.

 

Senior High Volleyball Barbeque – August 11, teens will meet at the volleyball court from 5-7 p.m. The cost is $10.

Teen Bible Study – Wednesday nights teens are welcome to attend Teen Bible study. Teens should attend the service and wait to be dismissed to Bible study. Junior High teens meet in Revels 207 and Senior High teens meet in the Choir Room. There will be no Teen Bible Study on these dates: June 13, 27, July 25, and August 1.

 

Teen Soulwinning – Saturday mornings at 9:30 a.m. From June 23-August 25 there will be no organized teen soulwinning. Teens are encouraged to come with a parent or find their own ride.
